Roxcy's 10!

We had a week of celebrations that included lots of friends, cake and presents.

Roxcy is just all around amazing. This year has been great for her. She's doing really well in school, loves singing in the school choir (and even gets herself up and out the door at 7:45 on rehearsal days), excels at the Excel Learning Program she's a part of, loves the modern dance class she's taking. She's becoming more and more responsible and helps me so much, especially Petrea. She really is the second mom. Petrea wants mom first, then Roxcy, then dad. She's been reading a ton; keeping up with school books and reading for the Beehive Book Award. I know she misses her friends in New York, but she has a lot of different friends here. She loves planning (a surprise party for her teacher is underway) and crafting and drawing. Being 10 means she's graduated to the next activity days group. When she grows up she wants to be a New York Times bestselling author or a famous actress. Happy Birthday Roxcy!
