Sono Baking Company

We spent the weekend in Norwalk and had such a good time. I dragged the family to Sono Baking Company. I've wanted to try it since it opened, not more than a year ago. I loved it. We had breakfast (the french toast stuffed with pastry cream and raspberries was sooooo good), and then went back at lunchtime for hot chocolate and pastries. The hot chocolate was not sweet at all, it tasted like pure unsweetened cocoa, but with a sweet pastry it was super yum and sybaritic. I've noticed that this seems to be the trend with chocolate. Sweet chocolate is out. Bitter but rich chocolate is in. I did get to try mini Kouign Amans. I've read so much about them from Jenni and Lindsey, thanks for giving me a heads up gals. They were very good.
