Four year old birthdays are the greatest. Colin was completely delighted with every part of his birthday: the cupcakes, the candles, the singing, the presents. We have a tradition of decorating the birthday child's room after they are asleep so they wake up to streamers and balloons. Colin loved it. He told Jonah, "Santa was here last night!" Wars figures I had picked up at Disneyland. Tania made him a super Colin cape that is the coolest thing ever. It has a big yellow lightening bolt and a big red C on the back. We missed celebrating with Ralph and Olive, but got to have the Urquharts over. I don't what we'd do without cousins!
Lately you can't hold Petrea and food at the same time without her lunging for it. She got a little 1st birthday practice with Josh's cupcake.
