Petrea is 6 months old today! Yeah! A major milestone. Coming up: crawling, sitting, eating table food, teeth!
Last week I got pulled over for making an illegal left turn. The officer saw Petrea in the back seat and commented. He asked how old she was and complimented her blue eyes. He took my information and returned to his car. When he returned I was surprised that he didn't hand me a ticket. "Because your daughter has such big, beautiful eyes, I'm not going to give you a ticket."

I love that she won the officer's heart over. She is strikingly beautiful, as are all your children. You should have at least a dozen kids!

He was never going to give you a ticket. He just wanted to meet the pretty blond driver, and even a Big City Officer of the Law knows it's more tactful to compliment a baby.
BTW, I can't get enough of those cute faces. I copied the pictures to my desktop so I could lighten them up and see every cute, drooly detail.
