Four Petreas

My mother, Petrea Gillespie is on the far left, her grandmother Eva Petrea Giles is seated behind and her great-grandmother Petrea Sorensen is sitting in the chair. The man is my grandfather, Robert Gillespie. Taken 1948.

I love this picture of my great-grandmother, Eva Petrea in her kitchen.

Baby Petrea - 3 weeks old.

I love this!! I have never seen these pictures-priceless. Little Petrea is named after some very impressive women. I can't believe how much Grandpa Gillespie looks like Sean.

What gems! Pictures are so vital to connect the generations, even if they can be challenging to take. Enjoy your visit with the fam.

Where did you find those two top pictures? I don't think I've ever seen them before. What a lovely idea to post the name history. Baby Petrea is gorgeous; Mom should be so flattered.
Mom, do you realize you have 4 grandchildren named for you: Soren PETER, Lily ANN, April PETREA, and PETREA Stanley. We must all really like you a lot!
