Happy Birthday Jonah!

Today Jonah is 6. In one year he has learned how to read, lost 1 tooth (another is coming out any day now), and learned to do flips on the tramp. He's also discovered video games in the form of Lego Star Wars and made lots of friends at school. He continues to have a great laugh and sense of humor, a passion for life (just like his Dad), a passion for food (just like his mom) and have great hair.




Since this year is a "family party" year he's planned a fun day in the city. Tomorrow morning we'll go to Central Park, rent a rowboat at the Boathouse and row around the lake. Then we'll go to Shake Shack, Max Brenner Chocolates, Dylan's Candy Bar, and Eleni's for cupcakes. (We may have to cut back on the food, sounds a little ambitious to me).



Jonah wanted me to bring a treat to school today, but they are encouraging healthy snacks and another parent is bringing in some kind of Brazilian bread for her daughter's birthday, so instead of cupcakes, I'll bring in short clear plastic cups of fruit (strawberries, grapes, pineapple). I'll put an umbrella pick in each one to make it festive.
