Hooray for Babies!

I just heard that my adventurous friend Sarah gave birth to a baby girl yesterday. They named her Lauren Roxcy. She was sweet to write and ask if I would mind if they used Roxcy in her name. I think it's adorable and I can imagine she'll be a kind and brilliant and strong woman, just like her mom. My favorite post baby treat are smoothies, particularly Jamba Juice. I'd go for the Berry Lime Sublime (raspberry juice, lime sherbet, strawberries, raspberries) or the Orange Berry Blitz (orange juice, pineapple sherbet, strawberries, blueberries) and add the Vita Boost to help replenish the post-birth, pre-nursing body. Post childbirth is the only time I can enjoy Jamba Juice and not feel guilty about ALL those calories I'm consuming (it's a lot). All this Jamba Juice talk is making me feel really sad that there isn't one near me. This might make me feel better: (and HOORAY! for Sarah and Lauren!)

1 c. frozen strawberries
1 banana
1 c. orange juice
1-2 T. sugar (optional)
Blend until smooth.

mmmm. i love jamba juice. we tracked one down in the city one time. i love the peanut butter one. i know. i'm probably the only one who ever orders that one. but lime sublime is good too.
