Believe it or not, there is a website called grocerylists.org which contains a collection of grocery shopping lists. Either people have found them and posted them, or they've posted their own lists. The site has been so popular that a book is "in the works." This list is a sample from the site. It starts out, "Acidopholus, Enzymes, Oil . . ." It's amazing what you can tell about people from a shopping list, especially handwritten ones. Lately I love to shop at Trader Joe's and Viva Grande! I love the produce at Viva Grande! It's not as shiny and glamourous as Whole Foods, but it's very seasonal and cheap. They have lots of whatever is in season outside, so it's easy to go with the kids and leave them in the car while I quickly load up. Here are the shopping lists I used today to shop for the week:
Trader Joe's
tomato soup
chicken breasts
hanger steak
oatmeal
string cheese
salad
oj
cheese
cream
white beans
tortilla
gnocchi
marinara
olive oil
raspberry jam
bread
shallots
mozzarella
2 gal. milk
total: $59.37
Viva Grande!
green beans
yellow squash
green grapes
lemons
peppers
onions
avocado
apricots
black plums
nectarines
bananas
pineapple
corn
total: $15.60

You are an excellent shopper! I love looking at your list and imagining the good things that will come out of your kitchen. We all know that great things come out of your kitchen daily. I want to be a Stanley child. P.S. You can come over and bbq anytime-it's a win win for me. Sorry about those pesty squirrels.
Don't mention Trader Joe's, I am having withdrawls...no tj's in ri, i have to go to mass and have not ventured up that far yet, maybe i will just come down there for tj's!
