Wow, only mid-August and the kids are going back to school. Actually it feels like it's time. It's too hot to be outside, might as well be in school. The kids were so excited. They both got great teachers, they already have friends, they get 3(!) recesses a day. We all love that school is a 3 minute walk away and doesn't start until 9 am. Having to wake a sleeping baby (or mommy!) to pick up the kids or meet the bus just became a non-issue.
We love school!
For the first day treat we're having soft pretzels with cinnamon sugar. And extra bonus, we get to hang out with Danika and her kids who are in town for a few days. It's a good, good day.
